Meet the TGL Family

Me and my Husband.

My Name is Megan and my husband is Dustin, We have been married for over a year now and happily together for 5 years. We have two wonderful children together. I am a SAHM, and my husband is a mechanic. I love what I do, I am so blessed that I get to stay at home with my kids. Being at home allows me to witness all of they're milestones. Its amazing how fast the time has gone by, and how I fall in love with my kids everyday!  I do this blog as freedom from my noisy life that I love. I think that every mother that is home with her kids should have one thing for just her, and this is it. I know what your thinking, but Meg this is all about your kids and motherhood. I know, I know, but this is also a time that I can reflect on it all without the crying and diaper changing. So I really hope that you all enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing.

Emma
She is our first born. There is a story behind her, she was trouble to conceive and a troubled pregnancy! When I was pregnant with her I went into pre-term labor, had sever preeclampsia tendencies.  Back labor and I was always in the hospital. I went into the hospital at 35 weeks and the told me that her heart rate dropping the way it was, was so irregular that they thought it was in the best interest of us both to take her via C-section.  And now she is almost three and is the most amazing little girl. She is so smart and full of life! She is one of the reasons for my existence. We love all the little things that she says, and the personality that she has acquired, and i love every moment that I get to see her grow.

Jack

He is our second, and I am not sure if he is the last. I love this little boy! He was a totally different experience then Emma, as she could not wait to get out; and jack didn't want to no matter my efforts! He was suppose to be a induced labor, I was going to be doing a VBAC ( vaginal birth after cesarean) and my doctor told me that I must be dilated to do so. And I never dilated! So again I had another C-section, and i don't wish those on my worst enemy. But he is a great baby, I love him so dearly. He is a momma's boy for sure. I am also so glad that nursing him has been a success. He has the biggest smile and makes anyone around him melt. Him and his sister love to play together. Emma is the greatest big sister and does everything she can to help mommy and brother. I am truly blessed with the most wonderful children that any mother could ask for!
